WHY I CHOOSE TO MAKE THIS COSTUME:
Fenris is fierce, short-tempered, intense and caring. I fell in love with this character the second he joined my party in Dragon Age 2. He has lyrium burned into his skin which keeps him in constant agony. Can't say so much right now, but he is indeed one of the most interesting characters I've ever known from games.
CONSTRUCTION:
The breastplate is made from cardboard and the gauntlets are made from craft foam. My plan is to use fiberglass to ensure the cosplay's durability.
I know that Fenris has a open part on his back where you can see his skin, but since I'll be wearing a binder, I decided not to leave it open and
instead I decided to use som skin-colored suede for that part. So the color is almost the same but it'll be suede instead of my skin - as a part of his
clothes. The breastplate ended up too big and I had to remake it from craft foam.
